This menu provides the access point to the five functions for analysing the main characteristics of spreadsheet data lists.

These analyses automate searches for

• duplicate records
  
• similar string type records (including provision for multiple analysis in a single process)
  
• gaps in a numeric series of records
  
• numeric records of an approximately equal value
  
• numeric records bigger than or smaller than a specified value
  

The sixth function records the state of the list order at a specified point in your analysis.

'Pattern Lists' provides access to the management and control of multiple parameter lists for the similar string type analysis above.

Remarks

Several of the List Analysis functions need the list to be in ascending order to work properly. In each case the user will be asked whether he wants to record the original order before proceeding with the analysis.
