Many lists do not have a pre-existing key field. Nevertheless if you want to compare two lists it is a requirement that they both have a common key field.

For example the Spreadsheet Data List of formulae for the whole workbook "ACBA Web - Daily Stats.xls" is certain have duplicates in both the Worksheet and Cell fields. See duplicates analysis below.

However, we can use the Create Key Field form to combine the Worksheet and Cell fields.

You must validate the key field before posting it to the list. Any potential duplicates will be highlighted by the error message.

Once confirmed, the process will post the key field on to your list with an audit trail header as to how it was created.
