Each of the user dialog mimics the operation of an equivalent 'Extract Numbers' worksheet function.

The primary function of the dialog is to allow the user to extract numeric information from a datalist of string values. The results are returned as numbers not formulae so that the information can be shared with users who do not have a copy of ACBA Tools.

There are four forms to consider. They extract the number

• from the Beginning or End of a string
  
• from a specified Position within a String
  
• after a specified String Pattern
  
• the Nth integer in a string
