The functions in this section treat each digit in a string as a separate number.

In the following example all the strings have six separate numbers, but four of them have double digit numbers in the final position. These four strings are treated as having 7 digits, when analysed by NUMDIGITS. Similarly, SUMDIGITS treats each digit separately and adds it into the result.
