This returns the whole number in a string starting from the specified position.

The parameters required are

• the column address of the datalist you want to analyse (choose a letter from the dropdown text box)
  
• The position within the string (a whole number) from where you want to extract the number.

Using this form to extract values from the position of a string will generate results of the type shown below.

Remarks

This function returns a string value of '#Error', if it cannot resolve the parameters provided.
