This form employs only one parameter. The column containing the list of alphanumeric strings you want to analyse.

The result is the count of numbers or number groups generated in the number array. The column header and audit trail is the name of the worksheet function employed and the column containing the list analysed - in the case below NUM_NUMARRAY(Col 'A')

Remarks

The argument or parameter 'Pos' for most of the worksheet functions and form equivalents can be any whole number between 1 and the maximum number of positions.

The function will generate an error value of -1 if there are no numbers in the string.
