The purpose of a String Series is to deliver a series (or list) of string based search values to be compared a against a primary string (see Strings - Approach to Analysis).

The primary management requirements are to be able to

• create a series of values suitable for use in the String Series function
  
• add such a list series into the ACBA Tools software
  
• amend the references within the software or the lists themselves, and
  
• delete the references within the software
  

The ACBA Tools software holds a pointer (or reference) to the list rather than the list itself. This provides the user much closer control of the construction and amendment of the list series values.
