The "Amend" process allows the user to change

• the references that appear in the ACBA Tools dialog boxes, and
  
• the individual lists themselves
  

The 'References within the ACBA Tools' dialog boxes are set by the list creator. These may not appear very useful or sufficiently specific to the individual user. This process allows the user to change the name of the list for his or her own purposes without altering the original data.

The second process is aimed at the original creator of the list. It allows him or her immediate access to both the datalist and its associated control sheet. It is designed to permit instant alteration - for example adding a new search item to an existing list of search criteria.
