The lists of search criteria are held separately from the ACBA Tools software. There will be circumstances where users want to maintain and amend these lists even when they are not registered within the main program.

The standard Excel files that hold the lists often appear empty because the creator of the lists has hidden them away. (This is mainly to protect their integrity.) This process generates a picture of the lists hidden in a file and allows the user to select which list he wants to view/amend.

The Excel file that contains the lists must first be open and active.

The user form that generates this list of contents is accessed from the following menu tree - Audit Tools, List Analysis, Pattern Lists, Edit Pattern Lists.

This will create a menu of the hidden contents of the file.

The user must select a list by its title and determine whether he or she wants to edit the list itself (the Main Pattern List) or its name/classification (the Associated -ListPat sheet) using the option buttons. A message appears if you have forgotten to select an option.
