The lists of search strings related to a single broad subject are normally held within a single Excel file. It is often convenient to delete all the related lists of parameters in one process.

To delete all the lists held within a single Excel file container call the "Delete Lists of Patterns from a File source" dialog from the ACBA Tools menu - Audit Tools, List Analysis, Pattern Lists, Delete by Workbook.

This instruction generates the following user form, which lists the file containers holding the List Series registered to your copy of ACBA Tools.

You may select more than one file.

Remarks

Once a file containing search parameters is deleted in this process, there is no record of the file or its location held within ACBA Tools. It is worthwhile therefore organising your search parameter files such that they are in an easily retrievable location on your file system.

The system requires that at least one Excel file is left registered.

If you wish to delete all references to search criteria lists, select Delete All Pattern Lists.
