This process allows the user to delete all the registered search strings held within the ACBA Tools software. There can be two primary reasons

• to start again with a brand new series of search parameters
  
• to reset the order of a series that you have just created
  

The user gains access to the "Delete all List Patterns" function, from the ACBA Tools menu - Audit Tools, List Analysis, Pattern Lists, Delete all Pattern Lists.

This is a single operation without any selection requirement. The user will be offered an escape route through the following message box.

The importance of this notification is that the ACBA Tools will no longer have a record of where the file that contains these parameter lists is held. It is worthwhile checking the location details, that can be seen in the amending references dialog, before proceeding with deletion.

Remarks

One of the effects of creating a new series of search parameters is that the order that they appear in the drop down is determined by the order of creation NOT necessarily the order that you have determined they should appear during the creation process.

The work around to this problem is to delete and re-load.
